Ready for some nerd action!?

I knew you were.

I have 2 forehead-smacking pieces of advice for you this week, so that you can make email maaaaaaagic happen.

1. HOW TO WARM UP AN OLD EMAIL LIST

Whether you have an email list you’ve never sent to or have been on a break, it’s scary to start sending emails to people who haven’t heard from you in a bit.

I’ve got a few tips on how to warm that audience back up in a VIIIIDDEEEOOOOOOO!

See this sweet mug cover some email action for ya!

2. CANVA’S LATEST FEATURE RELEASE WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO SING FROM THE TALLEST MOUNTAIN.

If you’re not a Canva user (I use a combo of Canva and Adobe products), then you’ll probably be by the end of this email.
I don’t know when they did it, but I just discovered this new feature last week.

AUTO-BACKGROUND REMOVAL

Yes, it works. Not 100% ALL of the time, but enough to make it a powerful tool.

Grab your latest headshot, group shot, whatever people shot you want to use in your content, pop it in Canva and BOOM, remove the background in less than 10 seconds.

You do need a Pro version of Canva which is around $11/month, but SO worth it if you’re designing graphics.

My photoshop skills are decent, so it would have taken me a long time to remove backgrounds from images.

Now I can pretend I do really fun things on the weekends and you WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW. (Well, now you do, but STILL).

SEE!?!?

This is me in Paris last week.

And this is me in Greece I think? I can’t remember because I have SO many adventures.

I DEFINITELY don’t spend my weekends NOT leaving the house while I let my toddler pretend I’m a horsey. My life is WAY more interesting than that.

OK, you caught me on my TERRIBLE lying skills.

But you get the point. It’s a GAME. CHANGER.

Have fun playing with that fun little tool!
