Women's Exchange of Washtenaw (WXW) is a volunteer-run networking group located in Ann Arbor, MI. For over 10 years, they've been bringing women together to exchange ideas and support each other.
As a board member, I took on their email marketing program.
Here's what we were able to accomplish together:
- New subscribers immediately greeted. I created a welcome series that nurtured new subscribers and acclimated them to WXW's mission.
- New subscribers bring in about $600/month just from the Welcome Series. Since we are able to capture and nurture new subscribers right away, we've been able to increase our incoming event registrations exponentially as soon as someone signs up for emails.
- Email Campaigns bring in the majority of event ticket sales. A 90-day report estimates email campaigns brought in ~$10,000 in ticket sales.
- New data for better email targeting. I migrated WXW from ConstantContact to ActiveCampaign and setup their e-commerce store. Since then, we've been able to track our email campaign performance and better target our subscribers with relevant messaging.
